This autumn different world physicians paid their special attention to the fact that laptops are unergonomic by their nature. They sound the alarm that many computer users take wrong positions while working at the computer.

If a user sets his laptop just on a desk, such a wrong position is inevitable. A muscle-pain specialist physician Norman J. Marcus ironically says:

“Laptops are inherently unergonomic – unless you’re 2 feet tall.”

People who use their laptops all day long, for a long period of time, they set themselves up for muscle problems, the whole body can suffer from pain. Ergonomics specialists have warned the laptop users about that problem for many years, and no one seems to be amenable.

To avoid reaching up arms to the keyboard, pulling heads and necks to and fro, putting a strain on backs, ergonomics experts advise to use, and better to buy, such simple conveniences like the following.
To get the monitor higher you should purchase a laptop stand to hold a unit vertically. To avoid a wrong angle for the hands one can use also a separate keyboard.

An attachable keyboard could also be relief for your muscles. An external keyboard, for instance a wireless one, will for sure provide the best angle for users’ hands and wrists.

An ergonomic consultant Thomas Caffrey, founder of Myofactors LLC, believes that an external mouse will also help your body to feel comfortable. He says:

“The farther your hand has to go from your body, the more burden there is on the upper extremities.”

Thus all these advice concerning avoiding pain and stiffness in body’s parts, headaches and numbness of limbs should make your ears open.
