Verbatim announced its new solid-state drive, the ExpressCard SSD Tuesday.

The drive can work with OS X-equipped Macs as well as XP- and Vista-equipped PCs; it ships with NTI Shadow IV for continuous backup.

It’s the best way to add storage capacity to your laptop without changing its footprint with external devices, or going inside the case to install hardware.”
The new card is a solid-state drive that provides ExpressCard slot-equipped XP/Vista PCs and OS X-equipped Macs® with plug-in storage that is up to five times faster than USB based ExpressCards.
